Eight City Council members are millionaires.

The richest, according to Conflicts of Interest Board records released yesterday, is Domenic Recchia (D-Brooklyn).

Recchia, who has a private law practice, is worth as much as $3.45 million.

“I’m a full-time city councilman and I have a law practice. We also do a lot of pro bono work for the community,” he said.

All council members are considered part-time employees and are therefore allowed to hold other jobs.

Councilwoman Inez Dickens (D-Manhattan) is in second place, with a net worth of up to $2.7 million.

Three members are each worth as much as $1.8 million: Lew Fidler (D-Brooklyn), Melissa Mark-Viverito (D-Manhattan) and Thomas White (D-Queens).

“The forms are very misleading . . . I’d rather people not think of me as some abnormally wealthy guy,” Fidler said.

In fact, he said, he had to refinance his home to send his son to the University of Pennsylvania this year.

Councilwoman Gale Brewer (D-Manhattan), whose net worth is up to $1.5 million, has most of her money in stocks and mutual funds.
