Atlantic Yards Opponents File Appeal

Opponents of the Atlantic Yards development in Brooklyn have filed an appeal in New York State Appellate Court, claiming that the lower court erred when it threw out their case last January. The 26 community groups, led by Develop Don’t Destroy Brooklyn, said in the appeal that the 22-acre site’s environmental impact analysis was flawed and that a new, “credible” analysis should take place under Governor Paterson.
