Governor David Paterson is scheduled to undergo his second eye surgery today.
The governor was hospitalized Tuesday at the Mount Sinai Medical Center for acute glaucoma in his left eye and underwent a routine surgery that afternoon.
Doctors will operate on his right eye today to prevent glaucoma from developing in that eye.
Paterson is legally blind and can’t see out of his left eye because of an infection he suffered when he was three months old.
