48th SD Special Election Announced

Via Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s press office: The special election to fill the vacancy created in the Senate by the resignation of Republican Sen. Jim Wright will be held on Feb. 26.
On the same day, another special election will be held in the 22nd county legislative district in Oneida County where the 2007 general election resulted in a tie.
